Frequently Asked Questions

What is The Self-Care Dare?

A five-week wellness challenge that tracks five daily factors — Mindset, Nutrition, Fitness, Sleep, and Connection. The app works alongside the physical book to help you build habits that actually last.

Is it free?

We're currently in beta testing via Apple TestFlight. During beta, the app is free to use. Pricing for the full launch will be announced soon.

How do I join the beta?

Head to our homepage and click "Join the TestFlight Beta." You'll need an iPhone with TestFlight installed.

Is my journal data private?

Yes. Your journal entries are never shared with team members or anyone else. If you use AI coaching, your entries are processed to generate feedback but are not stored by the AI provider. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Do I need the book to use the app?

Nope — the app works great on its own. But the book and app are designed to complement each other, and using both gives you the deepest experience.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@theselfcaredare.com and we'll process your deletion request within 30 days. All your data will be permanently removed.
